is a parent-run USA swim club that offers a full range of competitive aquatics training to swimmers of all abilities- novice to elite.
Our goal is to provide high caliber training to swimmers throughout Horry and Georgetown Counties.

Staff

Fabio Mauro da Silva - Head Coach

Head Coach Fabio began swimming at a young age in his native Brazil. He went on to become a 10-time Brazilian National Team member traveling around the world representing his country in the 200 M Breastsroke at such events as the Pan-American Games and the World Swim Cup. He has held multiple Brazilian and South American records. In 2006 Coach Fabio made the Top 10 Fina World Ranking in the 200M Breastroke. He held the Masters World Record in the same event in 2005 and 2006.

From 1997 through 2003 Coach Fabio was a professional swimmer for the internationally recognized Pinheiros Sports Club in Sao Paulo, Brazil. His teammates included Cesar Cielo, 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist in Beijing. Coach Fabio transitioned from athlete to coach beginning in Sao Paulo at the Reebok Sports Club. In 2007 Coach Fabio was invited to coach at the prestigious Pinecrest Swim Camp in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He enjoyed his time in the United States and subsequently took the position of Age Goup Coach for the Myrtle Beach Swim Team from 2007 to 2008. In 2008 Coach Fabio helped found the Waccamaw High School Swim Team where he served as Head Coach. Coach Fabio is a Coach Member of USA Swimming and is ASCA Level 4 certified.

Camila Correa - Assistant Coach

A former member of the Brazilian Junior National Team, Camila brings a lot of experience to the CAC. Camila and Coach Fabio were teammates at the renowned Esporte Clube Pinheiros in Sao Paulo. Together they both helped their team to win 8 consecutives National Team Titles.

Camila started her coaching career on the same team she swam for, the Esporte Clube Pinheiros. Under the tutorial of Alberto Silva and Andre Ferreira, she served as the assistant coach for two years. While in Sao Paulo, she had the opportunity to work with several swimmers on the Brazilian National Team, including Olympic Gold Medalist Cesar Cielo.
